8 Months

Sometimes having to go through a bajillion photos and choosing on a few to post is just too hard, so then these posts happen. Here are a bajillion photos, because I just had to hard of a time choosing only a few. 

Oliver is 8 months old. What? Let me say that again. Oliver is 8 months old. Where has the time gone? How has it already been that long? The last few days I've been going through photos of when Ollie was first born and we had just brought all 7.5lbs, 21inches of him home. Now he is almost 20lbs and is 29 inches long. It really is mind blowing how much he has changed in such a short time; how much he has progressed and grown. Ollie is sitting like a champ, and has now mastered the roll. Crawling hopes to be in the near future, but for all we know he might decide that is overrated and start walking. He loves being in his walker. (Disclaimer: He's never in the walker for too long, and we do try and work with him on crawling.) Two bottom teeth have emerged with one on top making its way through, and along with that, mom and dads teeth have become super interesting and fun to grab at. As was mentioned in the previous post, things are becoming categorized. Especially distance. He has very much so figured that one out. His little finger is constantly pointing and touching things that stand out to him. Dadada is his vocabulary, and are working on mamama again. For the most part  he is sleeping around 10 - 12 hours a night, in which mom is extremely happy about. Everyday there is something new that Oliver has discovered and is doing. 

We really did get lucky with this one. Oliver is such a happy and easy going baby. These last few days though, he's been suffering from a cold. We're thinking its having to do with his top tooth cutting through, and so he's been a little bit cranky and fussy. We've been keeping watch though to see if he develops a fever or even an ear infection. But even with not feeling well, he is still been happy and just enjoying life. We love this tiny human.
