I woke up on the Thanksgiving Day starting off with a question: What am I thankful for?
There is so much in my life, and I know I am truly blessed and have a lot to be thankful for.
- Two wonderful parents who love and support me
- My two brothers; Chase who is serving the Lord and blessing the people of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Spencer who is growing up so fast and is becoming a man
- My two dogs Blue and Kodiak
- My education here at Brigham Young University-Idaho
- The Gospel; my testimony of the teachings and the joy I feel because I know it is true
- A living day prophet-President Thomas S. Monson
- My friends who I love and are always there for me
- A job that allows me to have a roof over my head, food so I don't go hungry, and clothing so I can stay warm (especially now since it has been in the negatives)
- A place to call home
- A warm bed
- A running car
- My mac computer : )
- Skype- most definitely because then I get to see my family every once in a while
- Music that I can sing and dance along too!
There is so much! If I could list everything I would be here for hours.
Today I am especially thankful for a family who is kind enough to take me in and share this special day with them.
Thank you so, so much!
Even though today is a day of remembering all that you are thankful, I would like to share with everyone this clip from Mormon Messages at the LDS website.
We need to see the beauty that is all around us; no matter what or who it is.
We need to live in Thanksgiving Daily.
Now I would like to ask you: What are YOU thankful for?
