I just want everyone to pay close attention to the picture above. Do you see anything white, fluffy, and freezing cold? Neither do I. This picture of Colleen and I was taken on Saturday on our way to Utah. Temperatures were in the high 50s. It was perfect.
You would think after four years of this I would be used to it. Nope. It gets harder and harder each semester; and each semester I swear that the next year I am transferring to Hawaii. As you can see it still has not happened.
So far I have been hearing that this is going to be the worst winter yet. Oh boy... I don't know if I can survive this. The good news is that my trooper of a car "The Green Thing" does very well in the snow. He was such a good car and made it up and down the big hill that I live at the bottom of with no problems. Also I'm so happy that there was no problems when we were driving to Utah. I was a little nervous that we were going to be stranded on the side of the highway calling AAA. Been there, done that. Not doing that again.
Do you like my angry face! : )
Back to the Utah trip from the first picture. My dad is in Salt Lake for work this week, so I drove down to see him, along with going to my cousin Little Joe's Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Plus my grandma, aunt and uncle from Washington were also visiting, so it was a nice little family reunion. I also got to meet my other cousin Rob's fiancé, Diane. It was a good trip; very much needed. I love my family so much, and I wish my mom and brother could have been there as well.
P.S. My Sketchbook Project came today! I'm so excited to put on my thinking cap and create something amazing.
